Pese a las derivaciones a la Sanidad privada, la lista de espera quirúrgica en el Hospital de Albacete no da tregua y, en noviembre, volvió a subir. Son más los pacientes que esperan una operación en el Hospital de Albacete que los que lo hacían en octubre, según los datos oficiales publicados por el SESCAM y ya suponen 8.598.
Oftalmología, con 2.193 pacientes en lista de espera pendiente de una operación acumula el mayor número de pacientes, seguida muy de cerca por Traumatología que también supera la barrera de los 2.000 pacientes pendientes de pasar por el quirófano en la Sanidad pública albaceteña.
Sí baja en el último mes la lista en consultas externas, que se queda ahora por debajo de los 1.000 pacientes con 721, aunque insistimos, un mes más, en la denuncia de numerosos pacientes de que en consultas externas no hay más lista de espera porque no se están dando citas.
Los buzones están cerrados en muchas especialidades y la consigna en los centros de salud es «ya le llamarán cuando abran las agendas».
De hecho, hay citas que llegan al paciente a principios de un mes para el final del siguiente, tras meses esperando, con el ‘truco’ de que así no cuenta en las listas de espera.
